Raleigh huffs, because he can fucking hear the lie in Chuck's voice, and he knew, knew that Chuck wouldn't believe him, but hearing it, and having it turned back on him, knowing Chuck would kill him hurts like things haven't gotten through Raleigh's wall to hurt in a long time. It makes him angry at himself, that he's invested so much of himself in Chuck, in too many ways.
He still can't even think of hurting him, though, so he keeps his mouth shut and keeps following Chuck back towards the beach.
